When your Chemiclave 5000 Builds pressure then drops, it usually means there is a leak somewhere. Here is what to look for:
a) Check the Door Seal for leaks. The Door Gaskets (door seals) should be replaced on a regular basis as part of the Chemiclave 5000 Preventative Maintenance Program
b) Check for internal tubing fittings, pressure attachments and hose clamp leaks
c) Check for Pressure Relief Valve for leaks. Over time, the Pressure Relief Valve’s Seals on the Chemiclave 5000 do breakdown
d) Check the Metering Valve for Leaks. The Chemiclave 5000 Metering Valve is a workhorse, but do develop leaks over time.
